It happened completely by accident. I began learning Italian in 2013 when I started my Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Italian Language and Culture. I didn't think much of it at first, but over the course of the three years I spent taking Italian language courses, I started falling in love with the language and the culture, and after graduating, I found myself looking for any opportunity to talk to native Italian speakers. After a few months of that, I noticed that many people asked me the same questions, so I made a quick video on a laptop that was absolutely falling apart, put it on YouTube, sent it to my friends, and didn't think twice about it.

I met my fiancé through a language exchange, then moved to Australia with him, and was unable to find a job for several months. I ended up finding a job teaching English to foreign children online, found an in-person job as a teaching assistant at an elementary school, and my teaching journey began.

While living in Australia, I started feeling the overwhelming desire to share things with the world, whether it be about my life, things I've learned, or how to learn a language. I decided I was going to start a YouTube channel, and started uploading videos where I taught English and Italian. It actually went much better than I had anticipated, and I just never stopped. I now do a combination of content creation, teaching private lessons, and freelancing as a Social Media Consultant.
